Created in collaboration with multiple faculties from the Simon Fraser University School for the Contemporary Arts Ghost Forest explores how we move through this place, traces of movement from the past, and the navigation of our changing landscapes. Built from a central score, the team of artists focused on walking, psychogeographical navigation, embodied archives, and vast landscapes.
Throughout the rehearsal process many design elements were being created in the rehearsal space. Visual elements of the show draw on the the local area, including historical maps of the region and natural elements manipulated live throughout the show.
